Our products are from a small mountain village in southern China with a remarkable past. Originating in the Tang Dynasty and rising to national fame as a prominent porcelain hub during the Southern Song period, boasts over 1,200 years of artisanship.
During the Tang and Song Dynasties, Japanese monks studied in Buddhist temples in China and often brought back some of the black-glazed tea cups used in the temples as gifts to their relatives and friends. To this day, these tea cups are still deeply loved by the Japanese.
